What AFK Assistant does
AFK Assistant keeps your computer active while you're away from the keyboard. It simulates natural, human-like mouse movement, keyboard activity, scrolling, and app switching so your presence stays online and your activity metrics stay healthy, even when you take a well-earned break.
Unlike a paperclip on a spacebar or a crude jiggler that wiggles the cursor in a straight line, AFK Assistant is designed to look genuinely human. Movements are randomized and smooth, keyboard events are non-conflicting, and everything runs quietly in the background without getting in the way of your real work.
Why we built it
Remote work changed how our days are measured. Activity dashboards, idle timers, and "away" indicators now stand in for whether someone is actually doing their job. The problem is that real work isn't a constant stream of clicks. You read, you think, you take a call on your phone, you grab a coffee, you step away for five minutes, and suddenly a green dot turns yellow and a productivity score dips.
That gap between real work and measured work is where AFK Assistant lives. We started this project because good employees shouldn't have to jiggle their mouse every two minutes or feel anxious about a bathroom break. Our mission is simple: let people work the way humans actually work, without being penalized by tools that only understand raw input.
