Short answer: Zuturno is the better deal if price or several computers matter most: $5.99 per month for one computer, or $11.99 per month for up to four, on Windows 10/11 and macOS 12 or later. On a Mac, though, it does not simulate keyboard activity. AFK Assistant costs $7 to $21 per month, simulates typing on both Windows and Mac, adds browser tab switching and a Linux version, and its Ultimate plan adds idle detection and scheduled runs.

What Zuturno offers
Zuturno, made by Fatty Oink S.A.S., is a desktop app that keeps your computer from going to sleep while you step away, running locally in the background until you are back. It is available for Windows 10 and 11 as an .msi installer and for macOS 12 or later as a download from its website (it is not in the Mac App Store). Linux is marked as coming soon.
Its features are automated cursor movement, clicks, scrolling and app switching, with custom frequency and intensity, one-click start and stop, and a hidden mode that shows no windows. Keyboard activity is available on Windows only. On a Mac it offers four actions, namely mouse movement, scrolling, app switching and mouse clicks (off by default), with Low, Medium and High activity levels.
Personal costs $5.99 per month or $46.99 per year for one computer. Pro costs $11.99 per month or $89.99 per year and covers up to four computers. Both plans include a 7-day free trial, once per customer, and the first payment can be refunded within 14 days.
Zuturno is unusually upfront: it makes no claim to be undetectable, says it cannot guarantee how each third-party application measures or reports activity, and asks users to check their workplace rules first. We agree on both points, and they apply to AFK Assistant too.
What AFK Assistant offers
AFK Assistant simulates mouse movement and clicks, keyboard typing, scrolling, and switching between apps and browser tabs, with each setting randomized within a range. Plans are tiered:
- Basic, $7 per month: cursor movement and keyboard activity. Windows, macOS and Linux.
- Pro, $14 per month: adds scrolling, browser tab switching, application switching and configurable settings. Windows, macOS and Linux.
- Ultimate, $21 per month: adds idle detection, scheduled runs, priority support and early access to new features. Windows and macOS.
Keyboard simulation is part of every plan, on macOS as well as Windows. The macOS page covers the Mac edition, and the documentation explains every setting.
Key differences
Price and number of computers
Zuturno is cheaper, offers yearly plans and its Pro plan covers up to four computers for $11.99 per month. An AFK Assistant key is issued for one plan on one operating system, and plans are billed monthly.
Keyboard on Mac
Zuturno's keyboard activity is Windows only. AFK Assistant simulates typing on macOS too, which matters if the apps you use count keystrokes and not only mouse events.
Browser tabs and Linux
AFK Assistant Pro and Ultimate switch between browser tabs as well as apps; Zuturno lists app switching only. AFK Assistant has Linux versions of Basic and Pro today; Zuturno's Linux version is coming soon.
When it runs
Zuturno starts and stops with one click. AFK Assistant Ultimate can also start by itself after you have been idle for a set time, stop when you return, and run on a schedule.
