TeamLogger hack: How to hack Team Logger (2022)

Step-by-step instructions on how to hack TeamLogger app.

What is TeamLogger?

TeamLogger is a simple employee monitoring and time-tracking software with automatic screenshots and activity levels.

To keep track of your time, you can use TeamLogger. It is a cheap solution that makes it easy to manage and monitor teams that work from home and improve productivity.

TeamLogger is created by a dedicated team of developers based in India.

According to TeamLogger stats, this time tracking tool is used by over 1.900 companies, with more than 23.000 users and 79 million hours tracked.

How TeamLogger works?

Seamless time tracking

You can use TeamLogger in your organization in two modes: Timer Mode and Silent (Background) Mode.

Timer mode:

In timer mode tracking, your employee chooses a project and a task and starts the timer with our simple desktop timer app. TeamLogger takes screenshots of each employee’s screen and tracks how long they spend on each task and project. TeamLogger also tracks how often and how quickly an employee uses keyboard and mouse to show you how active an employee is on his or her computer.

Silent mode (background mode):

As long as your employee agrees, you can install the TeamLogger “silent mode” tracking tool on their computer. With silent mode tracking, your employees don’t have to start the timer every time they work. They don’t have to do this. As soon as the computer starts up, Tracker starts up in the background without having a window. It doesn’t need the user’s permission to keep track of time, activity level, and screenshots while it’s running in the background.

As a manager, you can also turn off the screenshot feature and use only task and activity level tracking for your employees, if that’s what you want. You can even pick and choose which tracking features you want to use for each employee.

Real-time sync

All of your team’s performance data and screenshots are stored in your powerful online TeamLogger dashboard. You don’t have to keep an eye on them all day, yet still you can see how well they work.

Smart Reports

Each employee’s productivity and the progress of each project can be seen in an online report. Time-sheets that are made automatically show you the dates and times of all work sessions for an employee or a project.

You can also get performance data in a CSV format.

TeamLogger features

Offline tracking mode

As a company, TeamLogger knows that some of the employees may not always be able to get online. TeamLogger users don’t have to do anything to get TeamLogger to keep track of time and save screenshots when the Internet isn’t working. TeamLogger dashboard will show you how much data has been uploaded when the Internet connection is back up.

Employee idle detection

There is a timer that stops if an employee doesn’t do anything on the computer for a while. You can turn this feature on or off, and you can also set the timeout duration for each employee.

Custom branding options

You get your own subdomain for TeamLogger. You can set your own logo in the online dashboard and on the login screen that shows up when you go to [yourcompany].teamlogger.com, which is the URL for your company.

Client friendly dashboard

Invite clients to see reports or screenshots or both. You can do this at your own discretion. You can decide which users or projects each client can see. Clients don’t count as active employees, and all client accounts are completely free of charge.

What are off-screen (off-computer) entries?

People who do billable work or official work away from a computer screen write down their work in “off-computer” records. An “Add Off-Computer Time” button is in the client application. Employees can use this button to add time spent away from the computer.

It all depends on how the account is set up by the employer or administrator. Off-computer entries may be blocked, or they may have to be approved by a group manager or project manager.

How does TeamLogger calculate employee idle time?

Idle time is based on the “idle timeout” value you set in your account settings. People who work with you can change this setting for your account from the Admin > Accounts menu.

For example, if your account’s “idle timeout” value is set to 5 minutes, and you don’t do anything on your computer for more than 5 minutes, that time will be logged as “idle time.” This time will show up in your reports as “idle time.”

There may be a lot of time to think between interactions with the computer in many jobs. For example, if you want to write code or design something. For these employees, employers and administrators should make sure that the idle timeout setting is big enough.

TeamLogger pricing

TeamLogger has, quite interestingly, only one pricing plan. And, it is also quite affordable as well.

To use TeamLogger, you will need to pay only $1 per user per month. Amazingly, this offer includes all TeamLogger features.

Here’s what you get:

  • Add unlimited number of employees
  • Pay for only active employees
  • Application usage tracking
  • Unlimited storage space for screenshot
  • Custom branding with custom subdomain
  • Website usage tracking

But, that’s not all. You also have the opportunity to use a 15 days free trial, without the need to enter credit card information. After your trial is over, you can pay by purchasing TeamLogger credits using the purchase credits link in the menu that appears on the page after you sign in. Payments are made via PayPal. Any payment method supported by PayPal is accepted.

To be honest, that’s quite a deal!

Can TeamLogger be hacked?

Yes. Using AFK-Assistant desktop app, TeamLogger activity reports and screenshots can be hacked.

Here’s how that works:

  1. Sign up for AFK-Assistant 14 days free trial
  2. Install and run AFK-Assistant software on your Windows, Mac or Linux device
  3. Start generating keyboard and mouse activity while away from keyboard

AFK-Assistant is a cross-platform desktop application which mimics human activity and helps users generate activity reports in any time tracking software.

Provided 14 days free trial will help you test the software for yourself, with $0 initial payment.

You can cancel your subscription at any time, no questions asked.

How does AFK-Assistant hack TeamLogger?

TeamLogger, as any other time tracking software, creates activity reports by monitoring mouse and keyboard activity. These reports are then summarized and presented to employers.

AFK-Assistant helps you generate those activity reports while not actually using keyboard or mouse. Instead, mouse and keyboard are being “used” by AFK-Assistant software while you are on a break.

AFK-Assistant generated mouse and keyboard activity is then “recorded” by your time tracking software and saved together with “real” user generated input.

In this way, AFK-Assistant works for you while you are away from keyboard (AFK). This is quite like having a real, personal assistant.

Will AFK-Assistant activity be noticeably different?

No. All AFK-Assistant software editions are tweaked and tested in order to provide perfect activity reports.

Apart from that, there are app settings available which enable users to fine-tune the app behavior in order to create activity reports that better reflect the real user activity.

This means that you will be able to use AFK-Assistant no matter your workflow or job description. It is quite understandable that users with different job descriptions will have different activity reports generated, reflecting the actual mouse and keyboard activity while working.

AFK-Assistant settings option allows you to match those reports as closely as possible.

Will TeamLogger be able to detect AFK-Assistant app?

No, AFK-Assistant will remain undetected as long as used correctly. Here’s how:

  1. Make sure that AFK-Assistant is started before any time tracking starts
  2. Open AFK-Assistant settings window only while not tracking time

AFK-Assistant application is always running in the background, and has no active windows.

This is why AFK-Assistant can’t be detected – because it is not actually “running”.

However, some users want to be absolutely sure that AFK-Assistant activity won’t be detected by their time tracking software, and there are some good news here as well:

Every AFK-Assistant user has a right to request a custom AFK-Assistant application, for the same price as official editions. Custom AFK-Assistant applications are using custom app names and icons. Detecting the activity of any such app cannot be linked to AFK-Assistant in any way.

To request a custom AFK-Assistant application, simply get in touch with our support team and explain your app name request. Our support team is available to you 24/7.

How does AFK-Assistant hack TeamLogger screenshots?

AFK-Assistant can also help you hack TeamLogger without the need to worry about the screenshots.

Here’s how that works:

  • Using focused app switching feature, AFK-Assistant will switch between the open apps on your computer, making TeamLogger screenshots different
  • Using browser tab changing feature, AFK-Assistant will occasionally change the focused browser tab, also resulting in difference between screenshots taken by your time monitoring software

With bi-directional horizontal and vertical mouse scrolling, TeamLogger screenshots will look different even if the focus is switched back to the same open app or browser tab
